The Quesnel figure Skating Club continued to rise to the occasion with another strong effort last weekend at the Cariboots and Blades competition in Williams Lake.
First time participant Beverly Smetanuik came away with bronze in the CanSkate competition as did Katherine Osmond.
Brian Popa and Valyce Mamic earned silver in the CanSkate competition.
Alyssa Brown and Grace Dunn competed in elementary skating and each earned a silver in group B action and Casey Fisher earned silver in group A competition.
In the primary showcase competition, Alyssa Brown earned second-place in group A and Casey Fisher earned third place.
Samantha Mayden had a good weekend with second, third and fourth-place finishes in her group for pre-preliminary ladies, pre-introductory interpretive and bronze creative skating respectively.
Kyra Buchan collected first-place in the pre-preliminary and pre-interpretive skating competitions for her group and earned second place in bronze creative skating competition.
Alyssa Horth collected a first-place finish in primary elements competition and Jillian Couldwell finished in second place.
Nicole Dodge took home a fourth-place finish in preliminary skating competition and Grace Dunn took a fourth in CanSkate competition.
