Fuller Lake figure skaters just got back from the Barbara Rasmussen Memorial Competition.

Figure skaters rack up points

The Fuller Lake Skating Club just competed in the Barbara Rasmussen Memorial Competition in Port McNeill, March 19.

Brielle Varasteh, Canskate Group No. 2  placed first. Jazmin Wheeler, Canskate Group No. 2  was second. Nora Goeschick, Canskate Group No. 4 was fourth. Joshua Wheeler, Canskate Group No. 5  placed first. Chance Nobert, Canskate Group No. 7 placed third. Caiden Varasteh, Elementary Women 8 to 10 came in second. Paris Hanke in Pre-Preliminary Women 9 to 11  was ninth.

Naomi Eastman in Preliminary Women 11 and over came in tenth. Jordan Barrett, Preliminary Women 11 and over came in 13 and in Introductory Interpretive was second. Brianna Leonard Neva came in second in Junior Bronze Women 12 and under.

The skaters also went to the Pacific Skate Provincial Championships in Cranbrook.

Riley Buckner placed nine out of 10 in juvenile ladies and 10 out of 19 in bronze interpretative.

Brianna Neva places 15 out of 19 in bronze interpretative.

Sarah Kedves was six out of 10 in pre-juvenile ladies which was her personal best score.
