Fillion earns best offensive player at Starbowl

The Mission Niners had five players representing them in this years JB Starbowl, that was played this past weekend at Townsend Park in Chilliwack.

Bryce Fillion, Peter Kulba, Dayton Robertson, Cameron Stewart and Garrett McIsaac all represented the local team.

Fillion opened the scoring for JB Blue with a 55-yard run down the sideline. The JB Purple team tied the game with Brandon Sang scoring a one-yard touchdown with only 1:50 remaining in the first half.

But with 20 seconds left in the first half, Hunter Laroque ran 75 yards to put JB Blue up 16-8, which is where the score sat after a quiet second half.

Fillion earned the best offensive player award for the JB Blue team.
