On March 15 players travelled from Chase, Kamloops, Interlakes, 100 Mile House, Clearwater and Barriere then drew numbers to team up for the first annual Jack Livingstone Memorial Tournament.

Most hadn’t played together in carpet bowling before.

Barb Denton prepared an Irish stew, which fed more than 50 people, many returning for second helpings.

Thanks to the generous businesses in the communities of Little Fort, Clearwater, Barriere and Kamloops many of the players received door prizes, which always adds to the excitement of the day.

Thanks to everyone who participated and all those who pitched in, which includes Pat Day who thought she was just there to watch. We appreciated your help in the kitchen, Pat.

The 2019 BC Provincial Tournament starts April 30 to May 3 in Little Fort and May 2 and 3 in Barriere.
