Cole Forbes made 47 saves and Tristan Craighead had a three-point game as the Langley Knights won for the second time in four games.
Forbes — who made 40 saves in a game two nights earlier, a 7-1 loss — stopped 41 of 43 shots in the first two periods alone on Nov. 19 in a 3-2 come-from-behind victory over the visiting Abbotsford Pilots.
The junior B game was played at the George Preston Recreation Centre and it improved Langley to 4-17-0-1. They sit in last place in the PJHL’s Harold Brittain Conference.
The Pilots scored a pair of power-play goals — Hayden Guilderson and Cole Methorst lit the lamp 4:08 apart — but Knights captain Jayden Gill got the home side on the board with eight seconds to play in the opening stanza.
Craighead pulled Langley even in the second period and then set up the winner from Lincoln Lane with 16 seconds to play in the middle frame.
The Knights will look for their first two-game winning streak when they visit the Grandview Steelers on Sunday afternoon at the Burnaby Winter Club.
