In one of the most lopsided and surprising outcomes of the season, Bear extended their streak to three as they snapped Fraser Rivers four game run in an 11-4 blowout.
Several players enjoyed season best production, led by Lee “Nitro” Naeth who sniped four goals to go with a pair of assists.
Glen “The Chemist” Boudreau also found a cure for his lack of offense with a two goal, two assist morning.
Showing that it feels better to give than receive were Brad “Next-door” Neighbour and Jason “Firecracker” Forman who combined for one goal and, believe-it-or-not, nine assists!
Also having above average outings were Brody “Good” Neighbour, who found the twine twice; and Richard “The man with the Golden Gloves” Lindstrom, who drew one assist and scored the all-important tenth marker.
Obviously staggered in the double blue corner was the Chevy Crew whose bow ties looked like Swiss cheese by the end of the game.
Doing their best to provide some push back was the dynamic duo of Randy “Killer” Crofts who scored once and assisted on Levon “Young gun” Johnson’s hat trick goal.

The other contest saw the well-balanced Serenity side extend the BCS losing streak to eight (is enough) in an 8-4 doubling.
Serenity wasn’t happy with a two-game slide that relegated them into second place, so they game out with their guns a blazing.
They were led by their slippery-when-wet Captain Justin “Time” Rasmussen who dipsy doodled for a trio of tallies with his new-found line mate Chris “Crown” Royle chipping in with a pair of goals and apples.
Happy to accept one of Cam “Shaft” Graham’s trio of assists was Tyler Coleman “Lantern” who has come out of retirement to lend a hand.
A couple of unlikely players also had points for the Builders as Cliff “Hanger” Hunik continued his hot streak with a pair of saucer assists as “Jumping” Josh Salmons equalled his dad’s point total with a gorgeous assist.
Once again, the lone bright light for Blue Collar came from the stick of Kevin “Nightrider” Hesslegrave who was in on three of his teams’ goals which equates to a ridiculous 31 out of his teams 41 goals this season!
