Former Comox Valley Wild goaltender Liam Reid, now with the Victoria Jr. A Shamrocks lacrosse team, showed his appreciation to his sponsors recently. Reid dropped in to the Victoria divisions of EH Price & Convoy Supply to say thank you and to drop off a signed team photo and a Shamrocks Jr. A golf shirt.
The Shamrocks finished the regular season second overall but were swept from the playoffs 3-0 in their best-of-five series with third-place Delta Islanders.
Reid appeared in seven games in 2015, posting a 2-1 record. He backed up starter Charles Claxton, who was named Shamrocks’ MVP at this year’s team awards.
Claxton led the BCJALL with 12 wins and was 12-4 in his 19 games played. He started all three playoff games.
