It was a short stay in Langley for defenceman Ryan Fraser-Lee.
Acquired by the Rivermen on Nov. 22 from the Pembroke Lumber Kings of the CCHL, Fraser-Lee was shipped to the Surrey Eagles at the BCHL trade deadline on Jan. 10. Langley receives future considerations in the deal.
“Ryan was good for us on defence since joining the team back in November, but with Aaron Dolby coming off injured reserve, we needed to move an import and we feel Surrey is a good opportunity for him,” said Langley associate head coach Jordan Emmerson.
“He is a great all-around kid and was a pleasure to deal with every day at the rink.
“The Eagles are getting a reliable defenceman that can play in any situation and I believe they will really like his game.”
In 10 games with Langley, Fraser-Lee had 15 penalty minutes.
The Michigan native previously played with the Chicago Steel of the USHL.
