The Fred Milne Park Rangers FC picked up its first win of the young Vancouver Island Soccer League season Friday with a 1-0 win over the Prospect Lake Lakers.
Doug Armstrong tallied the Rangers lone goal, while Brent Nelson claimed the shutout.
The win gives the Rangers 1-3 record, while the Lakers are at 2-1.
Cowichan United plays Fred Milne Rangers on Friday (Oct. 14) in Sooke. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, the Division 4B Sooke FC remain winless after dropping a 1-0 contest to Juan de Fuca Bombers on Sunday.
Next up for Sooke is a game against Tritons FC at Fred Milne Park. Game time is 2:15 p.m.
