They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
It certainly will be this Saturday for Aleasha Wiebe as there is a pancake breakfast fundraiser to help the young Cumberland BMX racer go to the world championships.
Wiebe has been racing for 14 years and ranked nationally and provincially for the last 10 years. She is now planning to attend the UCI BMX World Championships in Rotterdam, Holland on July 22-27.
She is currently fundraising to attend this event and is looking for any help that is available from the public.
The Cumberland Br. 28 Legion is putting on a pancake breakfast this Saturday, April 26 from 8 to 10 a.m. Admission is by donation.
