Cyclists looking to raise money for cancer won’t have to worry about battling the elements next month, when a condensed, indoor version of the annual Ride2Survive is held at Southridge School.
The indoor ride is slated for Feb. 4, from 7-9 p.m., with a minimum donation of $40 required to take part; proceeds benefit the Canadian Cancer Society.
The year’s ride – the sixth annual indoor version of the 400-km outdoor ride, in which cyclists will pedal from Kelowna to Delta on June 18 – will feature a slideshow and commentary, while participants ride their stationary bikes in the Southridge gym.
Last year’s indoor ride had 150 participants.
