The Mount Elizabeth Middle Secondary School Terry Fox Run and Fundraising event didn’t just result in $1,147 being raised.
It also made one little piggy very happy when he got a kiss from the school’s principal and vice principal, Geraldine Lawlor and Christine Byrd.
The kiss was part of a pledge by the two that they would kiss a pig if the students raised more than $1,000.
The fundraising drive took place from September 24 to 28, and the Terry Fox Run happened on Friday morning, September 28.
