The Oak Bay Lawn Bowling Club hosted the Jubilee Pacific Pairs Tournament June 13 and 14, welcoming players of all ages – including the youngest competitor, Carah Webster, 17, from Lakehill Lawn Bowling Club, and Jim Brown, 90, from the Oak Bay Lawn Bowling Club. The Canadian Pacific Lawn Bowling Club’s Linda Robbins and L. Carnes were the tournament winners. Oak Bay’s Brent Merchant and Brent Jansen placed second in the B section and John Cossom and Donna Blackstock placed second in the C section.
