Sabrina Gasparac’s stellar season has netted her first-team all-star honours.
The fourth-year goalkeeper for the UBC Okanagan Heat was named to the Pacific Western Athletic Association all-star squad on Wednesday (Oct. 26).
The Heat finished tops in their division at 8-1-2 with Gasparac playing a big part in that success.
She led the conference with a 0.51 goals against average, allowing just five goals in 10 games with six shutouts.
The Heat are hosting the conference provincial championships this weekend and are the top seed in Group B.
Gasparac is a graduate of Walnut Grove Secondary and played in the Langley FC girls’ soccer program.
