Pitcher Georgia Clough, a product of Barriere Minor Ball, has had an amazing year competing in U14 fastball, playing for the Kelowna Heat U14 ‘B’, and the Tri-City Titans U14 ‘A’ out of Coquitlam. Clough’s season started at a tournament in Las Vegas, and other out of province tournaments included travel to Kent, Washington, Portland, Oregon, and Montreal.
She also made numerous trips to Kelowna and the Lower Mainland for tournaments every weekend. Clough played an impressive 91 games, pitched 323 innings and struck out 552 batters.
She wound up her season on Aug. 19, in the Canadian Nationals with the Tri-City Titans, where she was awarded the Best Pitcher in the tournament (zero earned runs against 16 innings and batted 500 in the tournament) and made the All Star Team.
Clough will be attending tryouts for the coming season this Thursday in Coquitlam and has been accepted to the Canadian Institute Clough on All Star Team Minority Report from Barriere Minor Ball M of Sport training program out of Thompson Rivers University. She sends a special thank you out to all her supporters and says she is looking forward to another great season.
