Canadian Girls Baseball, a national non-profit that delivers programs to girls from ages four to 16, is offering a summer program in Comox.
The seven-week session runs from July 11 to Aug. 29. Baseball experience is not necessary.
Six divisions range from five-and-under to 16-and-under. Teams are small, and games short in the youngest age group. The emphasis is fun, while learning basic skills. Position play and strategy becomes incrementally more important in the older divisions.
All COVID-19 safety protocols are in place for CGB programs.
