Summerland Senior Men’s Club
This week’s play was a team event counting two net scores per hole.
The winning team by count back at -24 by was Eric Johnson, Chuck Harman, Andy Webster and Dwain Sandrelli.
Also finishing at -24 were the team of Dave Carleton, Moe Mellow and Herb Williams.
In third place at -21 was the team of Jim Haddrell, Nick Coe, Jeff Clarke and Rick Gotobed.
There were a record 12 deuces for the day with Doug Steinke and Dave Carleton having two each.
Summerland Ladies Club
On July 3, the Summerland Golf and Country Ladies Club played the second round of Eclectic. The first round was played on June 26.
The best net score for each hole over the two rounds was counted and the winners are:
First flight: First Vi Ward, 61; second Diana Leitch, 64; third Linda Brussee, 65; fourth Carol Mulligan 65.
Second flight: First Kathy Larkin, 69; second Jean Walker, 69, third Lynn Karaim, 72.
On June 26, golfers played in the Zone Challenge. The winner for Summerland is Diana Leitch.
