Summerland Ladies Club
There was an exciting finish July 24 as the Summerland Golf and Country Ladies Club played the Review Cup Tournament for the Senior Ladies Club Low Gross Championship.
A three-way tie for first place resulted in a playoff between Helen Pybus, Vijai Vaagen and Carol Mulligan, each with 88.

First flight: First low gross Carol Mulligan, 88; first low net Joanne Gartrell, 65: second low gross Doreen Butterworth, 95; second low net Lanette Graham, 73.
Second flight: First low gross Pat Stohl, 105; first low net Jean Walker 74; second low gross Kathy Larkin 111; second low net Ellen Clay, 76.
KPs on Hole #4 Carol Mulligan and Ellen Clay. Long putt on Hole #18 Janis Goll.
Summerland Senior Men
On July 26, the Summerland Senior Men’s Club played an all net scores event.
Rick Drewnisz was the overall low net score from the third flight with a 63 while Jim Haddrell with a 67 and Doug Marchesi with a 64 led the first and second flights respectively.
Five players shared the deuce pot, Moe Mellow, Greg Flook, Nick Coe, Frank Davie and Doug Steinke with two.
