Summerland Ladies Club
On Tuesday, Aug. 21, the Summerland Golf and Country Ladies Club played criss cross, game in which the better of Hole #1 or Hole # 10, Hole # 2 or Hole # 11, and so on are counted, using the nine holes, doubled and take off the handicap give the net score for the game.
First flight: first Janis Goll, 57; second Diana Leitch,59; third (tie) Helen Pybus and Linda Brussee ,61.
Second flight: first Betsy McAndrew, 57; second (tie) Maribel Rothfield and Barb Oleschuk, 60.
Summerland Senior Men
The Summerland Senior Men’s Club played an all net scores event on Aug. 23.
Bob Tamblyn was the overall low net winner with a six under par 66.
Five players shared the deuce pot, Denis Wright, Bob Fortune, Jeff Clarke, Les Brough and Herb Williams.
