Adam Hadwin finished tied for 25th at the Web.com Tour’s News Sentinel Open, held in Knoxville, Tenn. on the weekend.
The Abbotsford golfer carded rounds of 69, 68, 68 and 71 to end up at eight under par for the tournament, eight strokes back of winner Peter Malnati.
Hadwin picked up $4,400 for his sixth top-25 finish of the 2013 season, and he sits 64th on the Web.com Tour money list with $76,182 in earnings. The top 25 at the end of the regular season earn PGA Tour cards for 2014, while the top 75 qualify for a four-tournament playoff series which yields an additional 25 PGA Tour cards.
As such, there’s plenty on the line for Hadwin heading into the final tourney of the Web.com Tour regular season, the Cox Classic, which runs this week in Omaha, Neb.
