Terrace figure skaters are perfecting jumps and routines for the Terrace Ice Show coming up Thursday, March 9.
Spun to the theme of Good versus Evil, the Ice Show will feature a wide variety of performances from Can Skaters as young as three, right up to adults.
The top feature will be a rivaling cops versus robbers routine, spotlighting Terrace’s own Heather Hanna, former professional skater with Disney on Ice, and Jacqueline Lenuik, prior national competitive skater in the senior ladies division.
Maya Lecuyer will crawl through a black widow spider routine, stalking several butterfly skaters, and dozens of other skaters will whirl through various match ups.
Frozen’s Elsa will battle prince Hans, Dorothy from Wizard of Oz will oppose the wicked witch, Cruella De Vil will chase down dalmatians, and Peter Pan and Tinkerbell will rival Captain Hook.
There will be a Star Wars battle, a snake charmer, angel and devil, and appearances from Batman, Catwoman, Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn.
In a unique twist to the theme, a luck of the Irish performance will see good luck challenging bad luck.
To top it off, Hunger Games Katniss will take on the evil leader Sutherland, Sleeping Beauty will stand up to Sutherland, and black and white swans from Swan Lake will go neck and neck.
The performances will spin off at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 9 at the Terrace arena.
