After losing 16-1 to the Nitehawks in Beaver Valley on Jan. 24 the Grand Forks Border Bruins played better on Thursday night (Jan. 26) but still lost to the Spokane Braves 6-2.
Forward Nathan Read scored at the 4:30 mark of the second (assisted by Chris Critchley and Brendan Lee) whiie defenceman Joseph O’Hara scored after being set up by Mitch Nishimura.
Goalie Dylan Quinn made 55 saves on 61 shots.
The Border Bruins are back at it again tonight (Jan. 27) with a game against the Kelowna Chiefs. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. at Grand Forks Arena.
