The curtain will be raised on the Grand Forks Border Bruins’ 2012/13 Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL) regular season campaign tonight against the Beaver Valley Nitehawks.
According to Matt Zamec, team vice-president, last year’s most valuable player, Dylan Quinn will start in goal.
Puck drops at 7:30 p.m. at Grand Forks Arena and there will be a tailgate party at the arena parking lot at 5 p.m.
The Border Bruins will head to Beaver Valley to play the Nitehawks the following night.
