The greens are open once again at Granite Pointe.

The golf course officially opened all 18 holes Thursday to start the new season. Granite Pointe president Preston Zeeben said the warm weather is providing an unexpected boost to the club’s early days.

“Right now everything is looking good,” said Zeeben. “Early bird membership has been up a little bit from last year. The course is … excellent. Like it’s already the end of the May for the grass growing and the greens are all in great shape. Looking forward to a great year if this weather keeps up.”

The new season marks Granite Pointe’s 96th year of operations.
