The Langley Intermediate Thunder are off to a 6-1 start after a 16-10 win over the New Westminster Salmonbellies on Sunday.
The game was played at Queens Park Arena in New Westminster.
Nathaniel Kozevnikov had four goals for Langley while Max Joseph chipped in with three.
Torin Van Rheenen — who the team picked up in a trade last week — made 44 saves in the victory.
The hot start has the team tied for top spot in the B.C. Intermediate Lacrosse League.
Langley will look to continue their winning ways as they host Maple Ridge tonight (Wednesday) at the Langley Events Centre. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
