Weather shortened the recent B.C. Lacrosse Association field provincials in Burnaby, but two South Island teams nonetheless came away with medals.
The Victoria Titans collected a silver medal in the under-16 Tier 1 division, while the Pacific Rim U-12 Tier 1 squad, led by division most valuable player Angus Connorton, captured the gold. The tournament was played from Feb. 21 to 23 at the Burnaby Lake Sports Complex.
