The inaugural B.C. Community Football Association Zone Bowl is set for McLeod Athletic Park this weekend.
Five football zones from across the province will hit the gridiron in three different divisions — junior bantam (ages 12 and 13 as of Dec. 31, 2015), bantam (ages 14 and 15) and midget (ages 16 to 18) — with players from both the high school and community football ranks.
Each zone is represented by a maximum of two teams per division.
The junior bantam games are on Friday, the bantam age group kicks off on Saturday and the midget teams hit the field on Sunday.
Friday and Saturday’s action begins at 10 a.m. and wraps up at 3:30 p.m. while Sunday sees games from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
