Grizzlies face elimination as series returns to Revelstoke

Sicamous Eagles lead the Revelstoke Grizzlies 3-1 after teams split games in Sicamous.

Brendon Wilde had a hat trick as the Sicamous Eagles put the Revelstoke Grizzlies on the brink of elimination with a 6-1 win in game four of their best-of-seven series Tuesday night.

Sicamous leads the series 3-1 after the teams split the two games in Sicamous. Revelstoke won 4-3 Monday night before getting thumped 6-1 on Tuesday.

On Monday, Ethan Wood returned to the Grizzlies net, making 29 saves to help lead the Grizzlies to a 4-3 win. Revelstoke scored four times in the first period and then held on the rest of the way to take the win and make the series 2-1.

On Tuesday night, Sicamous jumped out to a 2-0 lead with a pair of goals late in the first period. The Eagles added two more goals in the second and third periods to go up 6-0 before Austin Donaldson put Revelstoke on the board for a 6-1 final score.

Game five is at the Forum on Thursday night at 7 p.m.
