Team BC Male U16, with 108 Mile player Brett Harris, captured the gold medal in hockey at the 2011 Canada Winter Games on Feb. 18 in Halifax.
They defeated Quebec 7-4 in the final, making it the first time since 1979 that British Columbia had won the gold at the games.
Harris contributed one goal in their second game of the series with Nova Scotia.
