Hazelmere Golf Course turns 50 this week, and they’re inviting golfers down to the South Surrey course Saturday to help celebrate.
Amongst the festivities, there will be a closest-to-the-pin contest held, between 1-4 p.m. The four closest golfers to the pin will then be taken to the fairway on the ninth hole, where they’ll each try to sink a shot for the chance to win either a Ford Mustang or $50,000.
There will also be live music, golf clinics by Phil and Patty Jonas and demos by Cleveland Golf. Between 4 and 5 p.m, Golf Canada representatives will also be on hand to make a presentation, honouring Hazelmere’s 50th birthday.
