Young hockey players are getting ready for the upcoming minor hockey season.
“We have numerous skill development sessions planned and can’t wait to see how our players put them into action,” said Lisa Chartrand, president of the Summerland Minor Hockey Association.
Players were at a recent skills camp at the Summerland Arena to hone their skills in preparation for the coming hockey season.
Tryouts for the representative teams will run until 13.
Chartrand said the association receives plenty of help and support from the community. “None of it would be possible without the countless volunteers the association relies on,” she said. “As an association we always make decisions with your child’s best interest in mind and to further hockey development in Summerland.”
