In case you missed them, 33 Kwalikum Secondary School students ran the 10 km from KSS to the Dairy Queen on Monday morning.

According to KSS PhysEd teacher Jim Pearce, he, along with fellow teachers Barry Bevilacqua and Alli Bach, “are very proud of this group of students who set this 10 kilometre run as a goal in February of this year and reached it today.

“They trained hard,” he said of those that tackled the run, which is part of their PE course.

“Three days a week all semester, and their efforts and persistence paid off. We are also very proud of all of our runners who worked hard and achieved their personal run goals.”
