With one week to go until the Vancouver Canucks and Ottawa Senators face-off in an exhibition game at the Abbotsford Centre, hundreds and hundreds of tickets remain available for sale.
Fans were given the option of either a $55 or $65 ticket for the game, which occurs on Sept. 23.
StubHub, a popular online ticket exchange, also has a lot of tickets available but the prices are basically in line with what’s available on Ticketmaster.
The current cheapest ticket for sale on StubHub is $47.49 US – equal to almost $63 Canadian per ticket.
The prices for the Abbotsford game appear to be much more expensive than other exhibition games scheduled in Vancouver.
Ticketmaster has a lowest price option of $39 CAD for games against Edmonton on Tuesday, versus Ottawa on Sept. 25 and against the Arizona Coyotes on Sept. 26.
Interestingly, StubHub has prices as low as $8 US (for Tuesday), $10 US (vs. Ottawa on Sept. 25) and $11 US (vs. Arizona on Sept. 26).
