The Isfeld Ice senior boys basketball team won its annual invitational tournament on the weekend.
The team cruised to an 88-55 win over St. Jean Brebeuf of Abbotsford on opening day Friday.
In a tougher contest Saturday, the Ice defeated Brentwood College 75-62.
Isfeld went on to beat Brookswood Secondary of Langley in the championship final. The visitors held a 13-10 advantage after the first quarter, but the Ice was ahead 36-18 by the half. The score after three quarters was 59-36. The final score was 71-49 Isfeld.
Carihi of Campbell River won the consolation final 76-57 over Barsby Secondary of Nanaimo.
There were 10 island and mainland teams in the tournament.
