It was ’round the clock roller derby Saturday as nine teams from throughout B.C. and Washington State took to the track for the NWO Roller Girls’ annual Daze of Derby event at Chilliwack Landing Sports Centre.
The event was open to the public to come and watch roller derby for free all day long.
The day featured a mix of 16 shorter 20-minute bouts, eight full-length games, and three open scrimmages all on two separate tracks.
NWO Roller Girls Association is made up of two adult teams — Wolfpack and The Outsiders — plus its NWO Junior Roller Derby league which features the TNT Juniors (ages eight to 11) and the Honey Badgers (ages 12 to 18).
