Cumberland was the site of Day 2 of the BC Bike Race, Sunday. Riders started on Dunsmuir and followed a singletrack route through the Cumberland Forest trails.
Day 1 of the seven-day mountain bike stage race started Saturday in the Cowichan Valley. It concludes Friday in Squamish.
Comox Valley’s Geoff Kabush, a former Olympian who won the event last year, was the fastest rider on the first two days.
About 650 riders from 36 countries are entered. Riding times vary from three to six hours a day.
