Jesse Gabrielle of the Cougars made it 2-1, but their momentum was short lived as Reid Gardiner scored a minute and a half later to put the Rockets up by two once again. The score was 3-1 Kelowna at the end of two periods.

Kole Lind scored to make it 4-1. Then Gardiner scored again to give the Rockets a large four goal cushion. That would prove to be the final tally of the night, final score 5-1 Rockets.

Michael Herringer improves his record to 23-12-3-0 on the year while the Rockets improve to 30-19-4-0 on the season thus far.

The win moves the Rockets into third place in the B.C. division.
