Kelowna’s Teichroeb chosen by Stealth

Kelowna lacrosse product Cody Teichroeb was selected 41st overall by the Vancouver Stealth this week in the National Lacrosse League draft.

Teichroeb, who played all of his minor lacrosse in Kelowna, played two seasons with the Thompson Okanagan Junior Lacrosse League’s Kelowna Raiders.

He went on to become captain of the Langley Thunder of the B.C. Junior A Lacrosse League where he played last season.

Teichrob also played in the Alberta junior A league in 2015, helping the Okotoks Raiders to a provincial championship.

Cody is the second Kelowna lacrosse product ever to picked by a NLL team after Erik Sage was selected by the Stealth in 2010.

Teichroeb will also be selected in the upcoming WLA Draft.
