Andy Fitzpatrick scored but that was all the offence the Nelson Leafs would get in a 2-1 loss to the Dynamiters in Kimberley on Friday night.
Fitzpatrick gave the Leafs (8-6-1) a 1-0 lead less than five minutes into regulation, while Devin Allen finished the game with 26 saves.
Korbyn Chabot and Matt Davies each scored for Kimberley (12-2-0), which is tied for the league lead with Creston Valley atop the KIJHL standings.
Mitch Traichevich stopped 33 shots in net for the Dynamiters, who won their fifth straight game.
Nelson next faces the Thunder Cats in Creston on Saturday night.
