The Nelson Leafs lost 4-3 in overtime to the 100 Mile House Wranglers on Sunday afternoon.
The Wranglers took a 1-0 lead in the first period. But early in the second, Robson Cramer scored for Nelson to tie the game at one.
Later in the period, the Wranglers scored again to regain the lead, 2-1, after 40 minutes.
In the third, 100 Mile House increased the lead to 3-1 before Darnel St. Pierre and Austin Seaman scored for the Leafs to send it into overtime,
In the extra frame, the Wranglers Jayden Syrota scored to win it.
Joey Karrer stopped 27 of 31 shots in the loss.
Nelson’s next home game is set for Saturday, January 10 when the Spokane Braves come to town. The puck drops at 7 p.m. At the NDCC.
