The Ridge Meadows Knights atom teams took to a fog-covered field on Saturday morning in a Blue versus Gold showdown.

The Blue Knights were the first to find the end-zone, and the Gold responded with a score of their own. Both teams moved the ball well, and kept the fans on edge throughout. Brayden Hogarth and Hayden Cote teamed up for some great tackles, with Gabe Fitzpatrick creating some havoc in the backfield.

Jamie Huurman recovered his first fumble and took it back for a 40 yard return.

The Gold Knights sealed the deal in the fourth quarter with an onside kick recovery that their offense marched into the end-zone for the 27–18 win.

In Chilliwack, the Ridge Meadows peewee Blue Knights met up with the Red Giants.

Fullback James Grimeson carried for some big gains. The game was scoreless for three quarters, until a broken play in the fourth the Giants on the board. The Knights were unable to respond, falling 6-0.

The peewee Gold Knights hosted the undefeated Mission Niners.

Aiden Kennedy, Anthony Tulev and Brody Chamberlain made some great, drive-stopping tackles while Carlos Redekopp and Cameron Coolidge opened up some running lanes for Ethan Kitsch to get some big gains on the day.  It was Mission’s day however, as the Gold Knights fell 28-0.

The junior bantam Knights put another tick in the win column as they defeated the Mission Niner’s 33-6.
