A pair of wins helped the Credo Christian Kodiaks finish in sixth spot at the Single A senior girls basketball championships.
The 16-team event was held over the weekend in Prince George with Credo seeded 10th heading into the tournament.
The Kodiaks quickly moved to the championship side of the draw with an upset in their opener, downing the Duncan Christian Chargers 70-51.
Carolyn de Leeuw had 22 points, Kristen Shouten had 15 and Laura VanTil had 12 points.
But their dreams of a medal were dashed following a 78-52 loss to the Cedars Christian Eagles.
The Kodiaks did bounce back to defeat the Mulgrave Titans 69-66 behind 24 points from VanTil before losing 75-47 to the Pemberton Hornets in the fifth/sixth place game.
De Leeuw has 19 points in the loss.
