North Langley Kodiaks defeated Mission Niners 56-0 on Sunday, April 28.
Kodiak defence kept the Mission offence at bay all game, scoring three defensive touchdowns.
Claran Davies led the team with five solo tackles and a 20 yard interception return for a touchdown, Graeme Goddard, Stryker Roloff, Jesse Tomica had four each, and Bachuoch Michael made three and an 80 interception return for a touchdown.
Seth Mangroo also had a five yard interception return for a TD.
Ethan Holland pitched in with one quarterback sack.
The offence, with huge numbers, was led on the ground by Jun Jun Cadacio with 48 yards rushing, Kai Thomas 21 rushing yards, 87 receiving yards and 2 TDs.
As well, Trehjen Bhullar recorded 80 yards receiving and one TD, Terrel Jones with 45, and Jesse Nielsen had 22 yards.
Starting Kodiaks quarterback Trey Jones threw for 162 yards and 2 TDs and one 2 yard rush TD, with backup QB Samuel Colby throwing for 72 yards and one TD and one five-yard rush TD as well.

Kodiaks won the British Columbia Community Football Association (BCCFA) provincial championships for the second year in a row last year
In 2018, the team went undefeated for the entire season, with an 11-0 record, finally defeating Victoria Spartans 17-7 in Coquitlam.
It was the Kodiaks’ third year as a team and their third trip to the provincials.
