October continues to be unkind to the Aldergrove Kodiaks.
The junior B hockey club remains winless in the month as they dropped their sixth straight game, falling 8-5 to the Port Moody Panthers on Saturday night at the Port Moody Arena.
The Kodiaks have just two overtime losses in six October games as they saw their record fall to 3-5-1-3 and 10 points in the PJHL’s Harold Brittain Conference.
They also lost 6-2 at home to the North Vancouver Wolf Pack on Oct. 15, surrendering four third-period goals.
Cameron Davitt and Elvis Jansons had the Kodiak goals in that game, while against the Panthers, Jordan Funk led the way with two goals. Jamieson Ree, Aaron Markin and William Mann had a goal apiece.
Despite the slump, Aldergrove is tied for second with 10 points, six back of the first-place Langley Knights.
The Kodiaks host the Grandview Steelers at Aldergrove Arena on Oct. 22 before they visit the Knights at the George Preston Recreation Centre the following night.
