The Aldergrove Kodiaks stretched their winning streak to six games after thumping the Mission Icebreakers 7-2.
The junior B hockey club now has a share of top spot in the PIJHL’s Harold Brittain Conference with 18 points.
The Kodiaks peppered the Mission goal with 57 shots on Wednesday night at the Aldergrove Arena and had six different goal scorers.
Mark Menicucci stopped 30 shots for the victory.
The offence was led by three-point nights from Thomas Hardy (two goals, one assist), Jordan Pughe (one goal, two assists) and Brandon Potomak (three assists).
Alex Feighan, Matthew Luongo, Colton Precourt and Coleman Foisy had a goal apiece.
A pair of Langley players, Adam Callegari and Kenny Prato, scored for Mission.
Aldergrove improved to 9-4-0-0 while Mission fell to 1-10-1-0.
Up next for the Kodiaks in a visit to North Vancouver to face the Wolf Pack on Nov. 5.
The team also has a road game on Nov. 8 at the Delta Ice Hawks before they host the Richmond Sockeyes on Nov. 9.
