A 1-over par 73 wasn’t enough to boost Vernon’s Conner Kozak up the standings in Round 3 of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Golf Championships Friday in Salem, Ore.
Kozak, a member of the UBC Thunderbirds, started the final day in 65th place and ended with a share of 47th after carding 78-76-73 for an 11-over 227 at the Creekside Golf Club.
Aaron Flores of the Our Lady of the Lake University Saints of San Antonio carded a final round 3-under 69 (72-71-69) to finish tied at 4-under with Sondre Ronold of the Oklahoma City Stars (69-69-74).
