There were 16 golfers out for Ladies Night on August 16th. Great to see more golfers staying for dinner and the social after the game.
The Fun Game was “Four Clubs”. Sometimes it feels like fewer clubs will make the game harder, but judging by the final scores everyone seems to do just fine. The winners are: flight one – Carol Hindle had low gross and long drive, Karen Cassie had low net and long putt; flight two – Madeline Klassen had low gross, Joan Slingsby had low net, Sheila Colter had long drive and Marg Anderson has long putt; flight three – Abbey Bates had low gross and long putt, Hazel Wadlegger had long drive.
There were no KPs on flight five, but Deanna Pendergast had the KP on seven. Joan Slingsby had the long putt for all flights. Jane Olson had the least putts (only 13) and Judy Panko was the most honest golfer.
Joan Streadwick won the prize as the Middle Sister. Kay Knox had another ‘Chip in’ on hole eight and Carol H. was our ‘Birdie winner’on hole eight. Jane O. chose the door prize of a tarp donated by Aspen Auto and Joan Streadwick took the ball retriever donated by Debbie Pearce.
Carol Hindle won the special draw of the gift certificate from The Painted Turtle.
Make a note in your calendar as the Club Championship will be on Sept. 9 this year. Hope to see everyone out, but you must have played at least five times over the season.
