The annual Campbell River Curling Club Ladies Bonspiel took place last weekend with 26 teams participating and sponsored by Harris Nissan. Fifteen of the teams were from out of town. Ben Luck was the caterer for the Saturday night dinner. Pictured above, the A Event, sponsored by Marleen Medvedeff-Laviolette of Remax, was won by the Smiley rink of Nanaimo. The B Event, sponsored by the Vancouver Island Insurance Centres, was won by the Thulin Rink of Campbell River. The C Event, sponsored by Susanne Grundison of RBC, was won by the Jonsson rink of Campbell River.The D Event, sponsored by Frans Hoogeven Accounting Service, was won by the Walker rink of Campbell River. With the help of many participants and volunteers, it was a very successful bonspiel.
