Nancy Laframboise carded a 91 Wednesday to win low gross honours in the Spallumcheen Ladies 2nd Closed Golf Tournament.
Sunny skies greeted the field with Cindy Hoffman finishing second one stroke back. Lydna Doyle was third by retrogression with a 95, a score matched by Marsha Allen.
Kay Cornish was low gross champion in the second flight with a 96, followed by Shirley Hume at 98 and Colleen Schier at 100.
The third flight low gross title went to Sharon Fuhr with a 100, two strokes in front of Marion O’Flynn. Ariel Thorburn was third at 108.
Anne Kelly claimed the fourth flight low gross crown at 113 with Edna Little one stroke back and Edel Venus five shots behind.
The overall low net champion was Keiko Nomura at 64
Gwen Siewertsen took low net in the first flight by a countback at 74, defeating Gloria Regier. Third place went to Brenda Howard with 76.
Low net in the second flight was won by Kathryn Patton at 72, one stroke better than Karen Paul and four ahead of Diane Baker.
Jill Gerhardt ruled the third flight at 72, followed by Faye Ciergutz at 78 and Linda MacLeod with 79.
The fourth flight prize went to Janice Hansen at 75, followed by Terry Logan at 80 and Alice Rowland at 82.
Closest-to-the-pin swag was pocketed by Siewertsen, Cornish, O’Flynn and Kelly, while longest drives were registered by Hoffman, Hiroko Marr, Thorburn and Ruth Hagen.
