Lions undefeated in four games at tournament hosted by Claremont

The Lions beat Gulf Islands 77-32 in the opener on Thursday, then defeated G.P. Vanier 87-68 and the Spectrum Thunder 82-65 on Friday. The Lions wrapped up the tourney with a one-sided win over Shawnigan Lake Stags 81-50. The Claremont Spartans, meanwhile, suffered a 70-27 loss to Brentwood College but then edged crosstown rivals Mount Douglas 56-48, beat Enver Creek 61-50, lost to G. P. Vanier 75-66 and beat Vic High 59-47. Mount Doug finished with one win in three games and Spectrum winless in four.
